For over 100 years, the Heroman family has been a part of the floral industry in Baton Rouge, with its original business located downtown, just across from St. Joseph's Cathedral. Billy Heroman's grandfather and father started a "feed and seed" store together, with Billy visiting, observing, and even giving them a hand. As a young boy, Billy enjoyed riding in a horse and buggy with his father as they ventured to New Orleans to pick up chrysanthemums in preparation for the All Saints Day sales.

In 1955, Billy and his wife Janet opened Billy Heroman's, a flower shop located on Perkins Rd in Baton Rouge, LA. Building their business on customer service, they gave personal attention to every order and made sure to give back to the community they loved and adored. Today, the original Billy Heroman's on Perkins Rd is a mainstay in the neighborhood and is now run by Billy's son and three grandsons.

The fourth and fifth-generation florist has a worldwide online presence with three physical locations in the Baton Rouge area. Billy Heroman's was named "Best Florist in Baton Rouge" and continues to serve its community members with award-winning floral designs, spectacular special events, innovative plant designs, and much more.
